With his highly anticipated new street album Ten Toes Down on the horizon Big Ooh!, alongside A New Day Co-Op/5th Ave Boi’z and CertiFYD Production Group, has released the first leak “Pound Cake Freestyle”. Ooh! commandeers the instrumental to Drake & Jay Z’s latest collaboration in a way that only he can, waxing poetic about street life while commemorating the memories of frequent collaborators Young Farr & Jimme Wallstreet, both of whom were tragically gunned down this summer; the latter would have turned 35 years old yesterday. In May, Ooh! & Wallstreet dropped the joint effort “Twin Towers” hosted by newly minted Def Jam Head of A&R DJ Don Cannon and the newest edition of The Aphilliates’ DJ initiative, The Academy, Ace McClowd. Ooh! is gearing up for the release of “Ten Toes Down” in the coming months.
